RD007: Restorative Justice

0.00

Restorative Justice (RJ) was developed in the later half of the 20th century as a solution for the detrimental effects of the blanket sentencing of criminals. It has since been adopted to schools and their use of “zero tolerance policies” such as “three strike systems” or automatic suspension protocols.

In this booklet, we will describe Restorative Justice as a framework for education, rather than the concept as a whole, with the hopes of inspiring educators to utilize this mindset in their schools.
