our programs

From AI-powered student voice tools to on-the-ground learning collaboratives, Human Restoration Project builds the services and software schools need to listen, grow, and reimagine what education can be.

make every student a catalyst for change.

Polaris replaces traditional surveys with voice-first qualitative feedback. Schools create a "Day of Listening" where students share through voice recordings, group discussions, or written responses in their native languages — then AI reveals what matters most. Up to 10,000 students can record simultaneously, and every insight links back to specific student audio so educators hear the evidence themselves.

voice-first listening Students share through recordings, empathy interviews, or written responses — not checkboxes. 20-60 minute sessions in whatever format feels natural.
AI-powered theme discovery Multi-stage analysis: safety screening, automatic PII removal, theme discovery across hundreds of conversations, and research-linking — all without manual tagging.
AI research agent Ask your data anything in plain English — "What did students say about our math program?" — and get audio-backed answers with direct quotes.

feedback toward iteration, personalized goals, and authentic learning.

Floop is a feedback platform that helps teachers move beyond grades to provide meaningful, actionable feedback that drives student growth. Built for classrooms that value iteration and mastery over point accumulation.

real-time feedback Give students specific, actionable feedback on their work — not just a score. Students revise, iterate, and grow.
personalized goals Track individual student progress toward learning goals. See growth over time, not just snapshots.
iteration-first workflow Designed for classrooms that embrace revision. Students submit, get feedback, revise, and resubmit — building real mastery.

reimagining public education across West Michigan.

Third Coast Learning Collaborative is a federally funded implementation study bringing interdisciplinary project-based learning and portfolio-based assessment to public middle schools in the Muskegon area. Developed under a $3.9M U.S. Department of Education EIR grant and independently evaluated by RAND Corporation, TCLC partners with Orchard View Schools, Reeths-Puffer Schools, Human Restoration Project, and Open Way Learning.

randomized control trial A formal "school within a school" study evaluated by RAND, comparing TCLC students to control groups on engagement, well-being, academic achievement, and attendance.
community-connected PBL Students collaborate on hands-on projects with local community partners — from community cookbooks to disc golf course design to renewable energy systems.
