このアクティビティは、前向きな人間関係を促進し、人道的な戦略を用いて支援的な学習環境を作り出すことで、教師が破壊的な行動に対処できるよう支援することを目的としています。
この活動の目的は、ポジティブな人間関係、力の共有、支援的な学習環境を優先する代替戦略を模索することにより、教師が行動上の懸念に人道的かつ効果的な方法で対処できるようにすることです。そうすることで、生徒と教師の双方により良い成果をもたらすことが目標です。
教師にとって、教室での生徒の否定的な行動は、困難で複雑な作業になる可能性があります。時には、拘禁や停学などの懲罰的措置に頼りたくなることもあるでしょう。そして、これらの「行動」の多くは、そもそも懲罰的で非人間的なシステムへの対応であることも認識しなければなりません。これらに対抗することは可能です。
人道的なアプローチを取ることで、教師は生徒と力を分かち合い、前向きな関係を育み、支援的な学習環境を作り出すことができます。このアクティビティでは、生徒の行動に関するさまざまな問題を調査し、それらに対処するための人道的な戦略について話し合います。
